Hello! My name is Tania Mata-Abbott, a proud Latina and the heart behind Llama Vera Candles, founded in 2025. This journey began in my home, where I experimented with scents that reminded me of family, culture, and the little moments that make life feel warm and full. What started as a simple hobby soon became something deeper—a way to share joy, comfort, and connection with others.

The name Llama Vera carries a special piece of my story. It’s inspired by my mother’s last name, Llamas, which means “flames” in Spanish. Naming my business after her was my way of honoring the woman who ignited so much strength and love in my life. Llama Vera, meaning “true flame,” reflects not only the glow of each candle I pour but also the authenticity and heart behind everything I create.

The Llama Vera candles are non-toxic, clean-burning candles because I believe the things we bring into our homes should be good, feel good, and smell good. This is my way of spreading a little joy, and I’m deeply grateful to everyone who has welcomed these scents into their own lives.
